Kim Houang (Cornillac) and Michel Boudriau (Merad) met at the orphanage. Inseparable, they became police officers together. And yet, their personalities are quite different. Boudriau, marked by his strict Catholic upbringing, advocates values that are a credit to the French police: forgiveness, sharing, compassion. Adopted at birth by a Vietnamese restaurant couple before being placed in an orphanage, Kim never got rid of some of the traits inherited from his early childhood in the Asian community. His passion? The karaoke! And this is not the least of its shortcomings. These two are struggling, but when it comes to thwarting a wave of terrorist attacks in France, you’d expect a squad of experienced police officers to be on the scene. Against all odds, it is our two companions who will nevertheless have to work under the orders of the director of the national police Aude Lettelier (Carole Bouquet).
