A 32nd session full of bombs!

  • 02.11.2008

Wallimage ‘s final session of 2008 was marked by a series of explosive choices! The members of the Board of Directors have chosen to co-finance 3 films from very different backgrounds, each with a very real potential for explosion!
Les Films du Fleuve are offering us the chance to light up La Mèche Courte, an Italian film in the vein of the revival of the transalpine political thriller, tracing the journey of activists from the far-left Prima Linea group. Versus will confront Grégoire Leprince Ringuet with a different kind of bombshell: in L’Autre Monde, the actor from Voleurs de Chevaux will have to deal with Louise Bourgoin and her virtual double. In this new film by Gilles Marchand(Mais qui a tué Bambi? ), we’ll be treated to over 20 minutes of 3D images created in Liège by the Mikros Group’s brand-new subsidiary , WFX!
Last but not least, the Tarantula pyrotechnicians are also on hand to bring us their share of dynamite with the second film by … Virginie Despentes! The director of Baise-moi, adapts her bestseller Bye, bye Blondie and has entrusted the lead roles to Emmanuelle Béart and Béatrice Dalle!
