Mini Media Lab: the grand entrance into crossmedia

Through conferences and individual consulting meetings, experienced international experts will take the trainees on an initiatory journey to the heart of the art of cross-media storytelling, without neglecting the most efficient financing and distribution methods possible.

The four speakers sent to Brabant-Walloon are prominent personalities:

Nuno Bernardo has been nominated for a Digital Emmy. This multi-platform writer/producer created the first interactive series for teenagers, Sofia’s Diary, distributed by Sony Pictures TV. Beath Girl, the latest project of her company beActive, is a multi-platform drama series. It is currently being programmed around the world.

Berlin-based lawyer Christoph Fey specializes in intellectual property and entertainment law, with clients including film and TV writers, distributors, directors, producers and broadcasters. Christoph has written extensively on the entertainment business, on copyright and copyright protection, and on dispute resolution and mediation.

Based in Los Angeles, Adam Sigel juggles multiplatform communication across film, television, games, web and mobile media. This prolific writer and cross-media producer has worked with companies such as Disney Online, Microsoft, Activision, Sony Colombia Tri-Star and Universal.

Paul Tyler is a creative consultant and founder of Handling Ideas. He works on individual projects, campaigns and products as well as with film, television, games and cross-media companies to bring more intense user engagement and a rewarding experience for all across multiple media.

Mini Lab participants will have the exceptional opportunity to attend the residential workshop project presentations on July 5 as well as meet and exchange with the trainers and professionals who were lucky enough to be selected for the Pixel Lab.
