As the number of files submitted to each session is more and more important and the analysis that the Wallimage team makes of them is more precise than in the past, we have decided to bring forward the date of submission of the files to Friday.
The introduction of the files is done only in digital format via the dedicated application. It will have to be effective on Friday at 17H. After this deadline the application will no longer be available to producers.
As of Monday, the eligibility of the files will be examined and, in the event of a major problem, the notification of refusal will be sent to the producer on Tuesday. It will be irrevocable.
Nothing changes for the meeting between the Wallimage team and the producers, which is still scheduled for the second Thursday following the submission of the file. If all the files cannot be processed in one day, a second day of meetings will be organized on Wednesday or Friday. In all cases, producers will receive the day and time of their appointment as soon as possible.
The analysis of the Wallimage team will be transmitted on the following Monday to the Board of Directors, which will meet one week later to decide on the files to be supported.
It should be noted that the Wallimage co-productions regulations are currently being refined and will be published by the end of this year 2017. The changes made will attempt to answer the questions most frequently asked by the analysis of files, the establishment of agreements and the final analysis of expenditures. The changes also aim to place the undeniably Walloon companies and professionals even more clearly at the center of the files in order to ensure maximum sustainability of their work, which remains the fund’s number one objective.
