Little Big Panda is an animated feature by American director Greg Manwering who worked as an animator for Disney on films such as The Lion King and Who wants to frame Roger Rabbit?. The film is co-produced by Liège-based company Angels Avenue with Ysang Media from Beijing who contributed most of the budget.
The expenses in the Walloon region, for the most part done in the field of special effects and 2D/3D conversion, amount to one million Euros. Thanks to this investment, Digital Graphics was able to give work to around forty graphic designers and technicians during almost six months.
Little Big Panda will be presented in world preview on 15 January in Beijing and will be released in Belgium in 2011.
