The Brothers Sisters were the big winners at the 24ᵉ International Press Awards ceremony, which took place on February 4 at the Arab World Institute in Paris.
Jacques Audiard ‘s eighth feature film won three statuettes : best film, best director… and best picture, which went to Belgian Benoît Debie, twice nominated but also awarded for The Brothers Sisters.
Co-produced in Belgium by Les films du Fleuve, this humanist and thrilling western was co-financed by Wallimage : Mikros Liège, which had already worked on De Rouille et d’Os, one of the director’s previous films, took care of the numerous special effects.
