Innocence

This first feature film by Lucile Hadzihalilovic (Gaspar Noé’s wife and collaborator) was a great opportunity for the production company Ateliers de Baere to become a full-fledged producer on a feature film and allowed Sébastien Delloye, a talented young Walloon producer, to make his first steps outside of the European Union.Between Dog and Wolf.
The other strength of the project was the fact that the filming was carried out entirely in Wallonia on the basis of superb location scouting constituting a sort of catalog of the Parks and Castles of Wallonia. The amateurs will recognize in particular the superb theater of the Castle of Chimay.
In spite of the weak hope of a revenue increase, Wallimage launched itself with determination in the project, seduced by the deep originality of the approach, guaranteeing contrasted criticisms and an “alternative” success.
