The road to Istanbul

When the police inform her that Elodie, her only 20-year-old daughter, has left for Syria to fight in the jihad, Elisabeth’s life changes. She is shocked and does not understand this gesture because this war is not theirs.
Elisabeth manages to get back in touch with Elodie but she is quickly helpless in front of this young woman she doesn’t recognize anymore. Alone in her struggle, she decided to go to Syria to look for her daughter and convince her to return with her to Belgium.
