Last December, the Government of the Walloon Region decided to award an extra €1 million to Wallimage, in order to be able to meet the growing needs of the animation sector which is developing rapidly in our region.
After careful consultation with Walloon professionals and European experts, a specific set of rules for animation was put together, and the decision was made to dedicate two special sessions per year to series. After the first one, two projects were withheld: a new 52 episode series of Nouky et ses amis, produced by Noukies Picture at Studio Sika. As well as a third series of Cédric produced by Araneo at the Dream Wall studio.
