We have repeatedly mentioned the fantastic C.A.S.P.E.R. project, launched in October 2009 under guidance of the CRAVV, the VAF and Wallimage. After a first round of selections in April 2010 , three animation projects were selected to be developed into series.
Last December three winners were announced , who each received financial support to develop a pilot episode.
Reminder: the winners are Tuktulik by Fabienne Giezendanner, produced by Studio Redfrog (France), Araneo (Wallonia) and Walking The Dog (Flanders); Bo’s Bazar by Jan Bultheel, a co-production between Vivifilm (Flanders), Nozon (Wallonia) and SAS Virtuo/Art’fx Studio (France); as well as Toc Toc, the Walloon project presented by Xavier Steenman, co-produced by Nexus Factory (Wallonia), Creative Conspiracy (Flanders) and Planet Nemo (France).
On Thursday 11 March, at 11 AM, all three projects currently in development will be presented in studio 1 of the Flagey building in Ixelles, within the framework of the Anima Festival . If you want to assist, it is imperative to sign up with Sander Vanhellemont (svanhellemont@vaf.be) before 7 March.
