What do Up!, Coraline, The Princess and the Frog, Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Secret of Kells by Tomm Moore have in common?
Well, other than being five excelled animated films. They are the five nominees for the 2010 Oscars in the category “best animated feature film”!
Do not understimate this performance: it’s a real exploit for The Secret of Kells, a pan-European film, co-produced by Wallimage, whose voting directors had been seduced by the project’s grace and originality.
If that is not enough reason, let’s just take a look at the animated films produced in 2010 which have not been nominated. It’s rather impressive. So only one word to celebrate the news: yahooooooo!
Our sincere congratulations go to Marc and Serge Umé, who did an excellent job on the film together with the united forces of Digital Graphics, and to Viviane Vanfleteren who co-produced the film in Belgium.
