Projects must be written in French, intended for film or television, and be animated works. To be eligible, they must have the potential to appeal to audiences in all 3 countries. They must be offered as a priority to producers in the 3 signatory countries. They should be in the start-up phase and not in a rewriting phase. Applications must include a synopsis of at least 3 pages, a CV of the author and a description of the planned genre (feature film, series, 2D or 3D animation, etc.) and target audience.
For this second year, the schedule is as follows:
- June 2024: Launch of the call for projects
- July 31, 2024: application deadline
- August 31, 2024 (at the latest): announcement of winners
- September 30, 2024: Start of residencies
In 2023, the residency welcomed Bruno Lorenzi, a Walloon author, for an original work for young adults in a 2D TV series, Cander et Ladilash; Milena Rodams, an author from Charente, for a 2D TV series project adapted from Nekomaki’s work, Le vieil homme et son chat; and Fred Neuen, an author from Luxembourg, for a 3D feature film project, Croque-cadeau.
