Ernest, Célestine... And Wallimage at the Oscars

  • 16.01.2014

Faced with the big American machines and the most sophisticated 3D, Stéphane Aubier, Vincent Patar and Benjamin Renner’s tale caused a sensation in the first round with voters who discovered it.

As a reminder, Ernest and Celestine plunges us into the heart of the conventional bear world where it is frowned upon to befriend a mouse. And yet, Ernest, a large marginal bear, clown and musician, will welcome into his home little Celestine, an orphan who has fled the underground world of rodents. These two loners will support and comfort each other, and thus shake up the established order.

Another huge satisfaction: Digital Graphics records its third nomination. Amazing! The Umé brothers’ company was part of the Brendan Adventure and made the special effects for Dood van een schaduw, a short film by Tom Van Avermaet with Matthias Schoenaerts that was selected last year. Congratulations to all.
