The Congress is not only a “simple” Belgian co-production, justified by an interesting financial set-up. Diana Elbaum has been supporting the project since the very beginning. Entre Chien et Loup is entirely involved with it and made it possible for Belgian companies to work on the film’s artistic success: studio Walking the Dog worked on the animations while Mikros Images Liège collaborated on the special effects.
Of course, the projects which we were very enthusiast about as soon as we heard about it and read the screenplay, was co-financed by Wallimage. Cineart is in charge of the distribution in Belgium.
