"The Firsts The Lasts" wins two prizes in Berlin

Bouli Lanners has been touring the world of festivals since his short film TRAVELLINCKX in 1999. Two years later, his short MUNO is selected for the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. In 2005, his first feature ULTRANOVA won a prize at the Berlin Film Festival.

His second feature film ELDORADO won three awards at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival where it was presented in the Directors’ Fortnight. In 2011, his third feature film LES GEANTS was selected for the closing night of the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won two awards.

LES PREMIERS LES DERNIERS premiered at the Berlin Film Festival last Sunday in the presence of director and lead actor Bouli Lanners, actress Aurore Broutin, actors Philippe Rebbot and Virgile Bramly, and producers.

On Saturday, February 20, the film won the EUROPA CINEMAS LABEL award and the PRIX OECUMENIQUE!

LES PREMIERS LES DERNIERS will be released in Belgian cinemas on February 24th, distributed by O’brother.
