Wallimage animates Annecy

  • 07.06.2016

Wallimage having made animation one of its hobbyhorses, the presence near the lake of films co-financed by the Walloon fund is always an event greeted with joy. This year, there will be two.
Presented and awarded at Cannes (in the section Un certain regard), Michael Dudok De Wit’s The Red Turtle will be present in Annecy for an event screening that announces its upcoming release on June 29. Remember that in Belgium, an exceptional preview is scheduled on Sunday June 19 at 5pm at the UGC Bouckère.

Back to school, the new opus of the punk duo composed of Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar will also be present. This new episode of the Panic in the Village saga will participate in the competition ” TV Films ” : Indian and Cowboy are on their way to a beautiful cruise on a luxury liner, but they got their wires crossed. They completely forgot that today is the beginning of the school year! Farewell to the exotic islands…

Bad luck, right ?

Finally, the fabulous video clip Quand c’est, on a song by Stromae will also be presented in Annecy. The ideal opportunity to remind that the clips of our national treasure are made at Benuts. Cock-a-doodle-doo.
