For the past three years, Walloon audiovisual companies working in the field of animation and special effects that meet very specific conditions can apply to Wallimage to obtain an annual “Walloon Gold AV Provider” label.
This label is not intended to favor certain companies at the expense of others, but to facilitate the examination of expenses for certain large structures active in Wallonia. This results in a streamlined workflow for our verification teams, but also for the producers and providers themselves.
To obtain this label, companies must have their registered office and their main place of business in Wallonia and meet a series of conditions that you will find in our regulations.
After examining the various files submitted this year, Wallimage decided to award the label 2021 to seven companies, which are, in alphabetical order, Benuts, Digital District, Digital Graphics Dreamwall, L’Autre Compagnie, Mikros Image and Waooh!
For one year, invoices issued by these companies are considered eligible at 100% without any additional supporting documentation being required. This label can be applied for again at the end of the calendar year.
It should be emphasized that the spirit of this measure is to make eligible all teams working regularly for labeled companies, without having to justify the duration of the contract or domicile. Of course, there is no question of artificially making any technical service provider outside the core business of the labelled company eligible, by having the invoicing of its activities carried out by this company. It is also necessary that these invoices concern activities EXCLUSIVELY carried out in the Walloon entities of these companies. We will pay close attention to this.
The measure is intended to simplify everyone’s work by giving more time to each person to work in their own areas of expertise and also to ensure the sustainability of structures established in the Walloon Region that have chosen to develop there.
